PURPOSE:

Preparing employees to confidently, succinctly and winsomely answer the world’s favourite small talk topic, “what do you do?”

DURATION:

3 hours over a 2 week period

FOR EXISTING EMPLOYEES

Stimulates reflection and realignment of who we are, what we do and what I do
Improve ability to present company (sales, recruitment and general word-of-mouth)

SYNOPSIS

Quest culminates in a challenge to submit a compelling 30 second video answering the question ‘what do you do (for work)?’. Challenges building up to the final challenge are designed to improve the substance and delivery a user submits for the final challenge.

RATIONALE

Being able to confidently, succinctly and winsomely explain what my company does and what I do has multiple benefits for an individual and the company.

For existing employees: the quest should serve as a (re)clarification
For new employees: fast-track their understanding and build their confidence

An appropriate internal forum may be used to showcase and appreciate submissions (e.g. watch and celebrate any new employee 30 second submissions as part of a monthly team meeting)
